about me

It is my intention to journey with others through their suffering to cultivate hope and make meaning out of the trauma and difficulties they have experienced. I believe that through creating an environment of mutual respect and safety it is possible to promote healing and personal growth in counseling. I am driven to assist others in finding their strengths and work through what challenges them.

My counseling experience includes counseling children, families, and college students that experienced depression, anxiety, self-esteem and self-worth concerns, alcohol and drug abuse, relationship concerns, academic challenges, self-harm and suicidal ideation, autism spectrum disorders, and emotion regulation concerns. I also have many years of experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, religion and spirituality, terminal illness or diagnosis of life changing disorders, persistent mental illness, and grief.

In the counseling setting I work with my clients to develop personalized goals to cultivate a stronger sense of self-confidence, healing and hope, and making meaning of your life.
